So the skiing part of our trip has finally come to an end. It’s incredible to think that we have spent the last 3 months skiing – in my head, it feels like the time just flew by. But my body is definitely NOT feeling the same way…my legs and knees are happy to see the skis getting packed up for the season.
You’re probably sick of reading it by now, but since it’s my last skiing blog, I’m going to risk losing a handful of our countless readers :) and say it one more time.
Our time here in Whistler was incredible. The only knock against the place is the variability in the weather. No one likes skiing in the fog when you can’t tell which way is up hill or down. But when you can see it is an awesome place, and when it’s sunny, it is downright outrageous. Scott and I had some phenomenal days skiing and hiking here together. So, while hanging out in Whistler may not have exactly helped to further my career, it has certainly enabled our love to grow!
Well, that’s it for now. We’ll be in touch again from Europe – once we recover from the “what-do-you-mean-hockey-is-NOT-the-most-important-thing-in-life” culture shock. : )
