It seems like yesterday that we began this incredible journey – and that we were asking ourselves whether we had just done something completely crazy… Yet, here we are just about to head back to NYC. And I can say with 100% certainty that we are so unbelievably happy that we did it!!!! These past nine months have been filled with a ton of laughter, fun and adventure. We learned a lot, dreamt about and planned our future, and fell ever more deeply in love. The journey is now a part of us, and the memories will last a lifetime (the 7000 or so photos should help). :)
While of course we are sad that it is coming to an end, the sadness is almost completely overwhelmed by a sense of gratitude that we were able to do it.
So, before we sign off, we’d like to thank all of the people that helped make this dream a reality.
First and foremost, thank you Scott. I never would have embarked on this journey without you; I never would have dreamt this big on my own. Thank you for making my life infinitely better than it would have otherwise been.
We also want to thank all of you who supported us to take the road less traveled – especially our parents, who could have instead decided to disown us… :)
Thank you to those who helped us when we were in a pinch – especially Jackson, Michael, Sohail, the Montagninos, and David H. And a special thank you to the Jordans for sharing their beautiful home with us in Tahoe.
Thank you Pip, Brynne, Dave, David, Faye, and Fazia – I am SO SO happy that I am going to be a part of the team again – I couldn’t ask for more!!!
And last but not least, thanks everyone for keeping in touch and making us feel connected no matter how far away we were – that really meant a lot. We’re looking forward to seeing you all again soon!!!

right on, Utah and Tyler....right on. The Pipes is glad toy're making your way back to the hood. Although we all know that it's only a rest-stop before the next great adventure. Or is it the next great adventure?............
Welcome back!! Hope to see you somewhere, sometime. Here's to adventure and the next bend in the road. Just remember, if you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there. We recommend it. Love, Phyllis and Lamont "The Cooking Ladies"
