From the moment we arrived in Sydney, we were stoked! I had forgotten how much Scott and I both like it here; we had talked about moving here after finishing the MBA (after I came here for a term of school in 1998). Well, we awoke to a sunny Monday morning last week and within about 10 minutes of walking around the city with tasty coffees in hand, Scott was talking about moving here all over again!
It is such a pretty city – with tons of bays (so lots of residences have ocean views and easy beach access), and unlike most North American beach cities, you can actually USE these city beaches because the water is clean. And there are surf breaks within a 10 minute drive from downtown! Oh, and did I mention that we are here in the dead of winter and it’s a balmy 23 degrees Celsius?!?! But don’t worry, Mom and Dad, we haven’t made any final decisions yet… :)
