July 21, 2007?? 11:01am – a very exciting moment!

Sorry we’ve been off the map a bit, but Hels came down with a terrible throat infection and cold during our final week in NZ (something to do with freezing our butts off across walking over a snowy mountain pass or something) and was putting all her energy into getting better before arriving in Fiji.

Before we move onto Fiji, though, here’s one last funny from Wicked – that NZ car rental company with quotes spray-painted all over its cars – that we couldn’t resist posting…

"Religious wars are like kids arguing over who has the better imaginary friend.”

Finally, ending on a very positive note, we headed to the airport a bit early for our flight to Fiji in an effort to pick up the seventh and final Harry Potter book. As luck would have it, the airport book store was ready for the dozen or so HP fans that were waiting patiently for 11:01 local time to unpack the Deathly Hallows. It was perfect timing as we scooped up two copies and headed for our gate. Likuliku, here we come!
