It’s harder than it looks…. : )

So, PooFest seems to have been officially replaced by SunFest. The temps have been in the 60s for the last week plus, and we’ve been loading up on the 40 spf sunscreen like it’s going out of style because there hasn’t been a cloud in the sky. Some of the weekend warriors have even been showing up in bikinis – personally, I think that may be a bit much, but to each his own, I guess!

While we were definitely disappointed when PooFest ended (because we could ski powdies forever -- as you likely discerned from our earlier Ode to PooFest blogs),
we’ve certainly warmed up to the whole spring skiing thing.

Our days have shifted from hiking different ridges in search of freshies to hitting the terrain parks and learning tricks. The only problem with the terrain park is that I feel like I’ve showed up to the party about 2 decades too late – with all the little grommets hucking themselves off of jumps 25 feet in the air like it’s nothing….I suspect they get a good laugh as “Grandma” slides down the box at about 3mph with the fear of death in my eyes….Oh well, you gotta start somewhere right?
