This is the truth ~ we set the alarm for 6:45 this morning so we could hit the gym and get in a sweet little tempo run before a big ski day at Squaw. Consider it understood that this wasn’t exactly the break of dawn, but hey, we’re retirees (well, for now).
Hopefully this modest display of training dedication will appease the Big Frommage, and possibly even the Lil’ Frommage, especially considering Helen’s blistering 5.5 mph pace and 170+ heart rate (she’s claiming altitude and I can only hope that’s the case)J
Oh, and the ski day wasn’t half bad either. We came down off the mountain amid plate-sized snowflakes ~ tres solide!!

Love the blog, Helen! Love your writing, though not nearly as colorful or eloquant as your bi-weekly socrates contribution ;)...
Keep it up. It's an AWESOME read!
